Save Words in their Natural Context
Drag and drop to save the words you know as Known Words, and the words you need to practice as Practice Words. Easy right?
By saving known and practice words from real conversations in real contexts, you become an active listener and participant in the Spanish lesson. As a result, you learn faster and build your vocabulary with real life day-to-day words that you will actually use.
Important Word Saving Features
-
Save Known Words
Save the words you already know to build up an active list of words you are comfortable understanding and using. You are able to review and study these known words at any time to make sure you retain them.
-
Save Practice Words
Save the words you don't recognize as practice words. As you practice these words and they show up in other conversations, you will naturally begin to add them to your active vocabulary.
-
Manage Saved Words
Once you have saved some known and practice words, you will be able to manage them by organizing them into custom vocabulary lists (i.e. sports words, cooking words). Create as many lists as you want, and decide the organizational structure that works best for you!
-
Practice Saved Words
You can practice any word list you have created at any time! This is a great way to convert practice words to known words as you build your Spanish vocabulary. As you study your word lists, you will get accuracy scores to help you determine just how well you actually know a list.
-
Set Word Goals
As you save words, we keep track of exactly how many practice and known words you have saved. This way, you can set simple goals, such as "I want to have 125 known words by this Friday, and 500 known words by the end of the month!"
